Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

The GOAL API service ("Service") is operated by OmniServe Technologies LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801 ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GOAL API provides a RESTful API that delivers football data including live scores, fixtures, standings, team and player statistics, and related visual assets. Access is provided through API keys issued to registered users. The football data made available through the Service is licensed by us from third-party data providers and is redistributed to you under authorization from those providers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, subscribe to a paid plan, or otherwise transact with us. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly enter into agreements with, or accept payment from, persons under 18.

4. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

  • Accounts are individual and may not be shared between developers or organizations
  • You may not operate multiple accounts to circumvent the limits of the free plan
  • API keys are confidential and must not be shared, published, or embedded in client-side code
  • Providing false registration information may result in termination of your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Do not exceed the rate limits or request quotas associated with your subscription plan
  • Do not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Do not attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limiting, or any other security measure
  • Do not use automated means to scrape, mirror, or bulk-extract the Service beyond your plan's quota
  • Abusive, disproportionate, or excessive request patterns constitute a material breach of these Terms

6. Data Rights, Licensing and Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access the Service and to incorporate the data it returns into your own applications, websites, and products. This right is subject to important limitations that you must read carefully.

  • We grant no license, and make no representation, as to any intellectual property rights in the underlying sports data itself
  • Some data may be subject to intellectual property rights or commercial restrictions held by third parties, including leagues, federations, clubs, and event organizers
  • It is your responsibility to obtain any authorization or license required to use or publish such data in your own products, in every territory where they are made available
  • Use of the data for betting platforms, television or streaming broadcast, fantasy sports platforms, or any mass media distribution may require additional licenses from the relevant rights holders
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the raw data as a standalone data feed, or otherwise offer a product that competes with the Service
  • We grant no commercial rights over any competition, and we decline all responsibility for unauthorized or infringing use by you

7. Logos, Images and Trademarks

Logos, badges, images, and trademarks delivered through the Service are provided solely for identification and descriptive purposes, such as identifying a league, team, player, or venue. They may be served from a GOAL API domain for delivery and performance reasons; this does not imply that we own them or that any rights in them are transferred to you.

  • We do not own these visual assets and claim no intellectual property rights over them
  • All such assets remain the property of their respective rights holders
  • Displaying them in your application, website, or product may require separate authorization or licensing from those rights holders
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law in every territory where your services are available
  • GOAL API is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any sports league, federation, club, or brand appearing in the data

8. Data Accuracy and Coverage

The data is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind. It is aggregated from automated feeds and, in part, from human sources, and it may contain errors, omissions, or delays. We work to keep quality as high as possible and welcome reports of inconsistencies through our support channels.

  • Coverage varies by competition and is not guaranteed for any particular league, fixture, or endpoint
  • Data refresh frequencies described in our documentation are indicative and are not guaranteed
  • We may modify the data available on the free plan at any time without prior notice
  • Incorrect, delayed, or missing data does not constitute grounds for a full or partial refund

9. Service Level and Availability

We commit to a monthly uptime of 99.9% for the Service. If we fall below this in a given calendar month, you may request a service credit against a future invoice, calculated pro rata against the affected period. Service credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for any failure to meet this commitment, and must be requested within 30 days of the affected month.

  • Scheduled maintenance, announced at least 24 hours in advance, is excluded from the uptime calculation
  • Outages caused by our third-party data providers or upstream infrastructure are excluded
  • Force majeure events, as described in section 13, are excluded
  • Downtime attributable to your own configuration, quota exhaustion, or suspension under these Terms is excluded

10. Subscriptions, Billing and Payment

Paid subscriptions are available on monthly, three-month, six-month, and annual billing periods, and are charged in advance for the selected period. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Access to the Service is granted immediately upon successful payment.

  • It is your responsibility to monitor your quota usage; quotas reset according to your plan
  • When your quota is exhausted, access may be suspended for the remainder of the quota period
  • Unused requests do not carry over between periods
  • We may change our prices from time to time; any price change will take effect no earlier than 30 days after we notify you by email
  • Existing subscribers remain on the plan terms they subscribed to until they change plans

11. Refunds and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Service until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because access to the Service is granted immediately upon payment, all purchases are final and paid amounts are not refundable, regardless of the length of the billing period. Where you are a consumer in a jurisdiction granting a statutory right of withdrawal, you expressly request immediate provision of the Service and acknowledge that you thereby waive that right upon activation.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, disable, or terminate your account, with or without notice, in any of the following circumstances. No refund, credit, or compensation is due in the event of suspension or termination for breach.

  • Non-payment, or failure of a scheduled payment
  • Breach of these Terms, including the restrictions in sections 4, 5, 6 and 7
  • Repeated or severe violation of rate limits, which may trigger automatic suspension without prior notice
  • Receipt of a formal complaint or legal notice from a recognized rights holder, such as a league, federation, or event organizer, concerning your use of the data
  • Conduct that we reasonably determine would damage our reputation or that of our data providers

13. Force Majeure and Third-Party Dependencies

The Service depends on data supplied by third-party providers and on third-party infrastructure. We are not liable for any interruption, degradation, or inability to deliver the Service arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or network outages, server or hosting failures, natural disasters, legal or regulatory blockages, or the suspension, degradation, or termination of a data feed by an upstream provider. Such events suspend our obligations for their duration.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GOAL API shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any commercial loss, loss of profits or anticipated earnings, business interruption, or loss of data or commercial information, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOAL API and its data providers against any claim, demand, loss, or liability, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service or the data, your applications or products, or your failure to obtain any license or authorization required under sections 6 and 7 of these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page, and we will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You and we agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally before commencing proceedings. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right you may have to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under mandatory local consumer law.
